UNTV Supporters Head to Social Media to Voice Frustrations Over Sofitel Manila’s Acts of Discrimination

A number of supporters and adherents of the UNTV Channel 37 channel were prompted to voice out their indignation for Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila’s move to eradicate the station from their list of channels broadcast over all of their facilities. Negative comments also surfaced and brought to people’s attention past customers’ allegations on how an institute that is supposed to promote hospitality display discrimination against nannies and people on scrub suits.

The CEO of the station known for his advocacy for broadcasting programs to help the whole of humanity, Mr. Daniel Razon, sent out a call for boycotting the said hospitality company, which was said to have started working with the station on its initial operations, to promote and develop a positive image for the said hotel.

People are tweeting continuously against the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila with their official hashtag #NoToSofitel. The results indicated the frustration of the Twitter and Facebook audiences in favor of the boycott movement against Sofitel as the hashtag constantly tops the trends for nearly a whole day now starting yesterday afternoon.

So, when actions are motivated with ideas other than real concern and a good conscience in business, the business rots.
